About Us
Our bakery started in 2002 out of our founder, Clementine's, kitchen. She started out baking cakes and cupcakes for friends and family but the business quickly grew to other recipes and to a larger location. We opened our storefront in 2006 and have continued growing. We began catering in 2014 and since then have worked with a variety of clients and even had some of our creations featured on Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings.
We take our Thyme to ensure that every sweet we make is of the utmost quality. We use traditional practices to craft our desserts to ensure they come out perfect every single time. We source only the finest, local, organic ingredients; we work with local farmers and vendors to use only the best ingredients in our recipes.
We believe that weddings and fairytales go hand-in-hand and that everyone deserves a happy ending. That's why we work hard to make sure your special day will have desserts sure to enchant even the most skeptical guest.
Sustainability
We are committed to making a greener environment for all in every aspect of our business. This includes taking the confections that didn't meet our quality and making them into something new. Accidents happen which is why we found a way to salvage the treats that didn't make the cut, crumbly cakes become cake pops, overly done cookies become pie crusts and so on.
We also compost our food waste where possible and deliver it to the community garden and local farmers for utilization.
To keep our business green we use:
- biodegradable cleaning agents
- energy-star-rated equipment
- natural/biodegradable disposable goods, whenever possible
- a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled paper for all print jobs
- low-flow water equipment, when possible
We offer local and organic menus with rotating ingredients to match crops of the season.
We work with regional farmers to purchase sustainable food products; we not only support but encourage both vendors and associates to live and practice a greener lifestyle when possible.
